She is available to help you on your journey in motherhood whether your prenatal, in labor, postpartum or years postpartum! She is passionate about helping moms and moms-to-be to have their best birth experience. She is here to advocate for and encourage and empower women to be the best moms and YOU that you can be =)

As well as her birth work, Dr. Alison also helps moms recover from pain and inflammation through plant based eating. She stumbled upon plant based-Whole food eating when struggling to find a solution to chronic pain and inflammation in her own body. When plant- based eating resolved her health issues, Dr. Alison was sold and wanted to help other moms recover holistically as well.

Helping moms recover holistically through whole food plant -based nutrition, sleep, exercise and self -care became her passion.

Dr. Alison became interested in Maternal Health after she had her second son. Experiencing a traumatic birth and difficult pregnancy and postpartum wrought with anxiety and depression, Dr. Alison was pulled in a direction to help other moms not go through what she did. With new certifications under her belt, experiences to take her forward and her already present encouraging spirit, Dr. Alison was ready to help where she could.

So she opened her own Private in home Pelvic PT practice.

She saw racism in the birth room and decided to be an encouraging presence there for neglected black mothers.

During Covid 19 season she saw how many hospitals were not allowing doulas, so she created a Childbirth Coaching class to help moms be prepared before hand to advocate for themselves in the birth room whether or not a a doula was present.

She fell in love with breastfeeding education and bringing more awareness about breastfeeding to moms and the general public. Now as an educator Dr. Alison loves counseling women on basics of breastfeeding and getting their breastfeeding journey started!

Each step along the way, Dr. Alison has found space to be encouraging without missing a beat!

When not helping other moms, Dr. Alison loves to whip up something new in the kitchen and go to the beach with her husband, two boys and newborn baby girl.
